Beaufort Court is conveniently situated next to the M25 London orbital motorway and the West Coast mainline, and close to the M1 and A41 for the North and Central London.

By train:
Kings Langley station is a five minute walk from the office and is on the London - Glasgow West Coast mainline. From the station, you can take a short cut to Egg Farm Lane: exit the station via Platform 4 (London-bound) where there is a path from the end of the platform to the station car park, then take the steps from the far corner of the car park through trees. Turn right and the office is a few metres up the hill.

Bicycle racks are situated through the main courtyard. Shower facilities are available - please ask your RES host for details.

By car:
 RES recognises there are situations in which public transport is not convenient, and encourages visitors to car share as much as possible.

However, car parking is very limited at RES during office hours:

  • Please let your RES host know your car registration number in advance if you intend to park on site.
  • For large meetings (e.g. CPD events, open mornings, group events) you are required to park in the station car park, which is only 2 mins walk away (take the steps in the far corner by the trees up to Egg Farm Lane, turn right and the office is only 20m up the hill). There is a charge for the car park, and you will need up to £5 in change. Any visitors attending a large meeting who park in the RES car park will be asked to remove their vehicle.
  • For individual business meetings, we have a small number of Visitor parking spaces on site, beyond the circle immediately on your left.
  • Disabled parking is available on-site, beyond the circle on your right.

Directions: Leave the M25 at Junction 20 and take the exit off the roundabout signposted Kings Langley (A4251). At the next roundabout, turn right onto Home Park Mill Link Road and cross the canal (you'll see the RES turbine up ahead). The station car park is on the opposite side of the road.

SATNAV note: Egg Farm Lane is listed as a private road and, as such, you may find that your SATNAV has problems in finding it. Instead, enter Station Road as your destination and then look out for Egg Farm Lane opposite Roman Gardens.
